尋找新能源及開發綠色能源，是現代文明解決地球暖化現象的一個重要課題
植物的光合作用提供了自養系統，而人類也企圖從植物中萃取新能源來取代長久以來所依賴的石油能源。近年來高科技也嘗試將核能發電所使用的鈾原料，以原子分裂產生能量的技術，改變為以氫為媒介，藉由高溫使原子與原子結合產生新的能源，消弭傳統核發電所產生的核廢料帶來的高汙染之危機，此原子間相互融合的物理現象，亦即是宇宙中星體生成的原理。 作品《仙泡兒》即依此概念，形塑出此能源新概念的意象形式。在廣場綠帶處，整理出一如種子般的平台，於其上設置一高約20餘米的雌蕊狀白色巨塔，以優美的線條、高聳的柱身，色彩豐富的柱頭，聳立在該所的入口街道旁，標示出該所的意象。 柱頭以鏡面不鏽鋼球及布滿球體外圍的彩色玻璃，透過LED的演色變化，構成一顆多層次色光變化的彩色水晶般球體，結合溫度監控設備及中央氣象局溫度表示意色階，在不同溫度環境下LED色光隨之變化，不僅提供視覺上的美感，亦有提醒警示的作用。 20餘米高的柱身下方以摺擺的造形由下而上，日間時，太陽的移動可產生不同角度的陰影，而夜晚時經由下方設置之投影燈照射，會產生向上延伸的意象，也將視線引導至彩色柱頭上。 圍繞柱身下方則是分別設置六柱高低不等的雄蕊柱狀作品，作品上方亦設置大小不一之彩色玻璃，內置LED燈，不僅與雌蕊作品陪襯呼應，亦提供了該區的浪漫街燈效果。 從高處下望作品，可清楚的看出基地是一顆色彩繽紛的綠眼瞳，象徵著在綠色能源的開發研究中，人們所賦予的希望與期許，就像一粒正等著萌芽的綠色種子。 《仙泡兒》及《無盡藏》二組作品結合了新科技及全面性的市民參與，又是國際性跨領域的科學與藝術的結合，完整地呈現更具未來性及前瞻性的藝術作品。 Saint Power adopts a bionic design as its sculptural strategy to transform the image of pistils and photosynthesis of plants. A rotating dandelion rising from the ground serves as a new landmark for the Taiwan Power Company. The grassy slope next to it forms a plaza where seeds are planted and green shoots sprout, in the hope of creating a connection with nature in the imaginations of the public, and forming a new space for leisurely living. Real-time temperature sensors are built-in, working in conjunction with the lighting system of the sphere overhead. As a multitude of colors flow, they indicate the fluctuation in power consumption in relation to the shifting temperature, conveying the care that the Taiwan Power Company’s Xiandu Substation provides to the community, the land, and the people. |
